PTE Requirement for Finland Universities: Minimum Score

Typical minimum: 54 to 62 overall on PTE Academic, depending on the university, verified 9 September 2026.

The University of Turku accepts PTE Academic at 54 overall with 42 or more in writing for bachelor's admission. Tampere University asks 62 overall with 61 in writing, and the University of Helsinki asks 62 overall with at least 54 in each of the four communicative skills. A PTE score cannot be verified after two years.
