Tampere University admits to its English taught bachelor's programmes through the national joint application on Studyinfo, in a window that opens at 08.00 and closes at 15.00 Finnish time on the last day. There are two admission groups. Admission group I is ranked on the SAT, and from the 2027 admission round Tampere accepts the ACT as well; the university sets its own rules on how recent the test may be, and in the 2026 round only SAT tests taken after 1 January 2024 counted, with December 2025 the last usable test date. Admission group II is ranked on a school leaving certificate and requires a separate language test. An applicant admitted on SAT or ACT scores does not have to prove English separately, but still has to deliver the test results in the way the university's application document instructions describe. Attachments have their own deadline about a week after the application closes: in the 2026 round it was 15.00 on 28 January, or a separate date given for particular documents. Applications are made only at Studyinfo.fi and only while the window is open. Tampere publishes its student selection results for bachelor's programmes on a fixed date each cycle.
