Admission at a glance

Hanken runs two routes into its English-taught master's programmes and they differ in more than dates. The main admission round for studies starting in autumn 2027 is the national joint application, open from 7 to 21 January 2027, where applicants are ranked on an academic assessment scored by the programme on a 1.00 to 5.00 scale from the attachments uploaded by the attachment deadline. The rolling admission round runs from 8 December 2026 to 15 April 2027 and is a fast track for applicants who hold a degree in business administration or economics from abroad; Hanken states its requirements are higher than in the main round so that applications can be processed in the order they arrive. Both rounds ask for either a grade point average or a GMAT, GRE or GTEBS aptitude test result. The English-taught bachelor's programme is open to anyone holding an upper secondary certificate that gives eligibility for higher education in the country where it was completed; its last application period ran from 7 January 2026 at 08:00 to 21 January 2026 at 15:00 Finnish time, and Hanken says the admission requirements for the 2027 round will be published at the beginning of October 2026. Admission to the bachelor's programme can also be based on SAT or ACT results, which then cover English as well.
