| International tuition | €12,000 to €15,000 per year |
| Application fee | Not listed |
Tuition applies to students who are not citizens of the EU, the EEA or Switzerland and who study in English. For studies starting on 1 August 2024 or later it is EUR 12,000 an academic year for bachelor's studies and EUR 15,000 for master's. Hanken runs an Early Commitment discount of 25 per cent of the full tuition fee: bachelor's and main-round master's applicants qualify by accepting the offer and paying within 21 days of the acceptance letter, and rolling-round master's applicants by accepting within 7 days and paying within 21, which brings the bachelor's to EUR 9,000 and the master's to EUR 11,250 for that year. The fee covers teaching, supervision, exams and university services but not living costs or study materials. Several residence permit types remove the fee under the Universities Act as amended on 1 December 2024, including a permanent permit and a residence card as the family member of an EU citizen; a continuous type A permit exempts only in specific cases, which Hanken checks against the permit history with the Finnish Immigration Service. An exempting permit has to be valid when each semester starts, and one that expires before 1 January counts as liable for the spring semester.
