Universities in Czechia (2027): Fees, Deadlines, Requirements

Studying in Czech at a public university is free, and a fee only begins if a student overruns the standard length of the degree by more than a year. Degrees taught in English are charged, and Charles University puts its own range at EUR 40 to EUR 30,620 a year depending on the programme, with its First Faculty of Medicine at EUR 24,250. Admission is by faculty entrance examination, and the medical ones are hard: Charles admitted 102 of 785 General Medicine applicants in the year before its 2026/27 cycle.
