Admission at a glance

Tomas Bata University in Zlín admits international students to English-taught bachelor's, master's and PhD programmes through its online application website. Applications for bachelor's and master's programmes starting in September 2026 have closed, and the university says applications for 2027-2028, starting in September 2027, will open in October or November 2026. For 2026-2027 the Faculty of Management and Economics accepted applications from November 2025 until 30 April 2026. The application fee is CZK 740 (EUR 29). Applicants need English at CEFR level B2 or above, and those whose previous studies were taught in English can submit a confirmation from their school instead of a certificate. Tuition is set by each faculty: the Faculty of Management and Economics charges CZK 54,000, due within 30 days of enrolment, and the Faculty of Multimedia Communications charges CZK 67,500 a year for its master's in Marketing Communication, payable in CZK or the equivalent in euros within 15 days of enrolment. The university provides scholarships of about CZK 25,000 a month to all full-time PhD students, and bachelor's and master's students can ask their faculty coordinator about other scholarship options after admission.
