Admission at a glance

The Prague University of Economics and Business admits international students to English-taught bachelor's, master's, MBA and PhD programmes through an e-application in its information system. The application process for 2026/2027 has closed, and the university says the starting date for 2027/2028 applications will be announced soon, so the next intake is not yet dated. The central admissions page gives an application fee of EUR 100 for bachelor's and master's programmes, paid through the information system after registering the e-application and not refundable. English requirements are set by each programme; the master's in International Business, for example, accepts TOEFL iBT 87, IELTS Academic 6.0 to 6.5 or Cambridge B2 First. Tuition for English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes is EUR 6,000 per academic year, or EUR 3,000 per semester, for students admitted from 2027/2028, while students admitted earlier pay EUR 5,000; PhD programmes cost EUR 500 a year. VŠE does not offer scholarships or financial assistance apart from merit-based scholarships. The Czech Government's development scholarships are open to nationals of Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia and other listed countries for selected VŠE master's programmes such as Economic Data Analysis and Information Systems Management, and applications for 2027/2028 close on 30 September 2026.
