University West Admission 2027: Deadlines, Fees, Requirements

Admission at a glance

University West admits international students to English-taught master's and bachelor's programmes through Sweden's University Admissions portal. Applications for programmes starting in autumn open in mid-October, and the deadline for supporting documents and the application fee is 1 February; exact dates for each round are listed on University Admissions. Applicants from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland pay a SEK 900 application fee. The English requirement for all programmes taught in English is the equivalent of Swedish upper secondary English 6. Tuition is set per programme for students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland: for 2026/2027 it is SEK 120,000 per year for the Master in Sustainable Development, the Master in Leadership in Digitalised Organisations and the Master in IT and Management, and SEK 140,000 per year for the Master in Cybersecurity. Each year University West offers a limited number of scholarships to fee-paying master's students, covering 15% of tuition and awarded for academic excellence. Students applying for a master's programme starting in autumn 2027 can apply for the scholarship from 1 November 2026 to 15 January 2027 by submitting an online form and a CV, and decisions are sent by 1 April 2027 at the latest.
