Admission at a glance

UNIVPM runs international admissions in yearly calls managed through the international.univpm.it portal, where applicants submit a pre-evaluation application for up to two different programmes and pay a EUR 10 fee per application. For the 2026/27 cycle the university opened five calls: the first from 16 December 2025 to 30 January 2026, a second from 1 March to 30 April 2026, a third from 8 to 30 June 2026, a fourth from 1 to 31 July 2026 open to applicants from specific countries, and a fifth from 15 July to 5 November 2026 mainly for EU applicants and non-EU applicants to Medicine. Non-EU applicants who need a study visa complete pre-enrolment on the Ministry's Universitaly portal once their pre-evaluation is approved. Tuition is paid in three instalments: a first instalment of EUR 156, covering EUR 140 regional tax and EUR 16 stamp duty, due by early November; and second and third instalments that depend on the student's ISEE Indicator and chosen course. Non-Italian residents without an Italian ISEE must obtain an ISEE parificato through a fiscal assistance centre to access the reduced bands; OECD citizens who choose not to apply for one pay the maximum fee set for their course instead, while applicants from developing or non-OECD countries meeting first-year or credit conditions can be liable for only the EUR 156 first instalment. Programmes taught in English require a B2-level certificate for engineering, agriculture and science courses and B1 for economics; the university publishes accepted certificates and equivalent scores in a table that could not be read as text for this record.

Requirements

Bachelor

A secondary school qualification recognised as giving access to university study in Italy.

Master

A bachelor's degree or equivalent first-cycle qualification relevant to the chosen programme. English-taught programmes require a B2-level certificate for engineering, agriculture and science courses, and B1 for economics courses.
