Requirements

Bachelor

A secondary school qualification recognised as giving access to university study in Italy.

Master

A bachelor's degree or equivalent first-cycle qualification relevant to the chosen programme. English-taught programmes require a B2-level certificate for engineering, agriculture and science courses, and B1 for economics courses.

Documents

Passport, academic transcripts and qualification certificate, a Declaration of Value or equivalent comparability statement, a passport photo, and an English language certificate for English-taught programmes. Non-Italian residents who want an ISEE-based fee reduction need an ISEE parificato from a recognised fiscal assistance centre.

How to apply

  1. Submit a pre-evaluation application for up to two programmes on international.univpm.it, paying EUR 10 per application.
  2. Receive the pre-evaluation outcome.
  3. Non-EU applicants needing a study visa complete pre-enrolment on the Universitaly portal.
  4. Take the pre-enrolment confirmation to the Italian embassy or consulate to apply for the study visa.
  5. Enrol from mid-July 2026 and pay the EUR 156 first instalment; further instalments follow based on ISEE and course.

English test waiver

Programmes taught in English require a B2-level CEFR certificate for engineering, agriculture and science degrees, and B1 for economics degrees. The university publishes a table of accepted certificates and their equivalent scores as an image on its language-requirement page, which could not be read as text for this record, so no numeric IELTS or TOEFL minimum is recorded.
