Admission at a glance

Paris-Saclay University sits on the Saclay plateau southwest of Paris and brings together a former university and several grandes ecoles and research schools under one institution, with a strong focus on science, technology and engineering, alongside law, economics and health.

For a master's degree, the application route depends on the applicant's situation. Most international students apply for a first-year (M1) programme through the university's INCEPTION platform; applicants from an Etudes en France country then complete a second step on the EEF portal, while European students and others outside that procedure can instead use the national Mon Master platform. Second-year (M2) applications follow a similar tiered process based on residency and prior enrolment in France. Since Bangladesh is not an Etudes en France country, a Bangladeshi applicant applies through INCEPTION or Mon Master as their situation requires, without the extra EEF step.

On fees, Paris-Saclay's own tuition-fees page confirms that non-EU students who are subject to the government's differentiated rate are eligible for a partial exemption that brings their fees in line with the rate French and EU students pay, under a Board of Governors resolution dated 3 February 2026. In practice this means EUR 178 a year for a Licence and EUR 254 for a Master rather than the national non-EU rate of EUR 2,902 or EUR 3,950, though the page notes the exemption procedure for a given year opens and closes on its own calendar and applicants should check it is still open when they apply. Paris-Saclay is also one of the universities that regularly hosts France Excellence Eiffel scholars, a nomination-based national award, not a direct application.
