Requirements
Bachelor's (Licence)
Not a major recruiter of first-year non-EU bachelor's students centrally; most non-EU entrants join at master's level. A secondary diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureat plus a French language certificate is required where offered.
Master's
A bachelor's degree or equivalent (180 ECTS) in a relevant field. Language requirement (French or English) depends on the specific M1/M2 programme; check the programme page.
Documents
Academic transcripts and diplomas, passport copy, CV, motivation letter, academic references and, where the programme asks for it, a language test certificate. Applications are submitted through the INCEPTION platform (most international M1 applicants), the EEF/Etudes en France portal (Etudes en France countries only), or Mon Master.
How to apply
- Identify the M1 or M2 programme and check which platform it uses (INCEPTION is listed for most international first-year master's applicants).
- Applicants from Etudes en France countries complete a second step on the EEF portal after applying on INCEPTION; a Bangladeshi applicant, outside that procedure, applies through INCEPTION or Mon Master directly, without the extra step.
- Wait for the programme's admission decision.
- Check whether the current year's fee exemption procedure is open and apply for it if eligible, to pay the EU rate rather than the differentiated rate.
- Once admitted, apply for the student visa.
English test waiver
The university's tuition and master's application pages do not state one institution-wide IELTS or TOEFL minimum; Paris-Saclay runs many programmes in English, particularly at master's level, but each sets its own language requirement.
