Admission at a glance
Aix-Marseille Universite (AMU) is one of the largest public universities in France, formed in 2012 from the merger of three Aix-Marseille universities and now spread across sites in Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and elsewhere in Provence, teaching across nearly every discipline from law and medicine to science and the arts.
Application procedures differ by applicant profile: EU students and non-EU students follow different routes, through dedicated platforms such as Etudes en France or eCandidat depending on country of residence and course of study; since Bangladesh is not an Etudes en France country, a Bangladeshi applicant is directed toward eCandidat or the programme's own international route rather than the Etudes en France platform. AMU's own FAQ tells applicants to consult the application calendar carefully and prepare documents including diplomas, transcripts and proof of language proficiency ahead of time.
On fees, AMU's international students FAQ states plainly that for the 2026-2027 academic year, tuition is EUR 2,902 for undergraduate programmes and EUR 3,950 for graduate programmes for non-EU students, with a partial exemption from the differentiated rate available under certain conditions rather than as a blanket waiver. Payment can be made by card, cheque, or bank transfer for amounts over EUR 300. All students must also pay the CVEC campus-life contribution before administrative registration; the university runs "amU Prep'Days", with online resources and webinars, to help incoming international students prepare.
