Admission at a glance
The University of Strasbourg (Unistra) resulted from the 2009 merger of three Strasbourg universities and now teaches across nearly every discipline, with particular strength in law, given the city's role as home to European institutions, alongside science, medicine and the humanities.
For first-year admission, applicants use Parcoursup or the DAP route through Etudes en France; Bangladesh is not covered by Etudes en France, so a Bangladeshi first-year applicant is expected to use the DAP route via the French embassy rather than the online platform. For later bachelor's years and master's programmes (Licence 2, BUT year 2 or 3, Master 1 and 2), applicants use Etudes en France where covered, or eCandidat and Mon Master otherwise, which covers Bangladesh. The university's international admissions overview describes these routes but does not itself publish a fixed calendar date, directing applicants instead to platform-specific pages.
On fees, the University of Strasbourg's own tuition page confirms the government's differentiated non-EU rate in full for 2026-2027: EUR 2,902 a year for a bachelor's degree and EUR 3,950 for a master's, with a reduced rate (EUR 1,934 bachelor's, EUR 2,633 master's) for students who already hold an additional qualification or are repeating a year after a gap. Exemption from the differentiated rate is limited to specific categories: PhD and third-cycle health students, refugees and those with subsidiary protection, long-term French residents, students who have been tax-resident in France for two years or more, and students in preparatory classes (CPGE); other non-EU students may request an individual exemption but it is not automatic. A non-refundable EUR 23 application or administration fee applies.

Requirements
Bachelor's (Licence)
A secondary diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureat, and a B1 French certificate (TCF or DELF) for non-native French speakers, since almost all courses are taught in French. First-year applicants use Parcoursup or DAP.
Master's
A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Applicants from Etudes en France countries use that platform; a Bangladeshi applicant uses eCandidat or Mon Master instead.
