Universite Grenoble Alpes Admission 2027: Deadlines, Requirements, Fees for International Students

Universite Grenoble Alpes (UGA) resulted from the 2020 merger of the former Grenoble Alpes University with other Grenoble institutions and is now a large, federally organised public university with numerous constituent faculties, institutes and graduate schools (including Grenoble INP), each retaining some of its own admissions practice under the shared UGA umbrella.

For bachelor's programmes taught in English, applicants from countries covered by the Etudes en France procedure apply through that platform, with the deadline set by the local embassy. For master's programmes, UGA runs both fully international English-taught tracks and English-taught tracks also open to French students. Applicants from Etudes en France countries apply through that portal; applicants from countries outside it, including Bangladesh, use the Mon Master portal instead, which for the current cycle opened in mid-February with a mid-March deadline.

On fees, UGA's own international site explains that non-EU students may be entitled to apply for exemption from the government's differentiated registration fee depending on their circumstances and their specific host component; the page states plainly that some categories, including PhD students and students at Sciences Po Grenoble and ENSAG, are not subject to the differentiated fee at all, and that individual faculties and institutes within UGA set their own exemption conditions. Because the page does not confirm a blanket UGA-wide waiver the way some other universities' pages do, this record uses the national differentiated rate, EUR 2,902 (Licence) and EUR 3,950 (Master), as the default; a specific applicant may in practice pay less once their component's exemption rules are applied. A mandatory CVEC campus-life contribution, around EUR 105, applies on top of tuition.

Requirements

Bachelor's (English-taught programmes)

A secondary diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureat. Applicants from Etudes en France countries apply through that platform; deadlines are set by the local embassy for each country.

Master's

A bachelor's degree or equivalent (180 ECTS). Applicants from Etudes en France countries use that platform; other applicants, including from Bangladesh, use Mon Master.
