Universite Paris Cite Admission 2027: Deadlines, Requirements, Fees for International Students

Universite Paris Cite is a large public university on several Paris sites, created from the 2019 merger of Paris Descartes and Paris Diderot, and known especially for medicine, health sciences and science more broadly, alongside law, humanities and social sciences.

For a first year of a bachelor's degree, a non-EU applicant uses the DAP (Demande d'Admission Prealable) procedure managed through Campus France; the university's own page directs applicants to contact the specific programme first for admissions criteria. For a master's degree, the route depends on the applicant's country: those from one of 66 countries covered by the Etudes en France procedure apply through that platform, while others, including Bangladesh, apply through the eCandidat portal instead. Some programmes also ask for a TCF French test result as part of the file; specific minimum scores were not stated on the page read.

On fees, Universite Paris Cite grants non-EU students a partial exemption from the government's differentiated tuition rate, so they pay the same fee as French and EU students: EUR 175 a year for a Licence and EUR 250 for a Master (2024-2025 figures, which the university's own page says can move by about 2% a year), plus a EUR 103 CVEC contribution due before registration. Registration itself, once a place is confirmed, generally runs from July to September, with pedagogical registration in the programme following between September and December.

Requirements

Bachelor's (Licence)

A secondary diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureat. First-year non-EU applicants use the DAP procedure; an interview and language test may be required depending on the programme.

Master's

A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Applicants from Etudes en France countries apply through that platform; a Bangladeshi applicant (outside that list) applies through eCandidat. Some programmes ask for a TCF French-test result.
