Requirements
Bachelor's (Licence)
A secondary diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureat. First-year non-EU applicants use the DAP procedure; an interview and language test may be required depending on the programme.
Master's
A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Applicants from Etudes en France countries apply through that platform; a Bangladeshi applicant (outside that list) applies through eCandidat. Some programmes ask for a TCF French-test result.
Documents
Academic transcripts, diplomas, passport copy, motivation letter, academic references and, where asked for, a French test (TCF) result, submitted through the university's PJ WEB digital document server; the university states that an incomplete file cannot be processed.
How to apply
- Contact the specific programme (via the course catalogue or its listed contact) to confirm admissions criteria before applying.
- Bachelor's (first year): submit the DAP file through Campus France.
- Master's: apply through Etudes en France if from a covered country, or through eCandidat if not, which covers Bangladesh.
- A committee reviews academic background, the cover letter and references; an interview or language test may follow.
- Once accepted, register (generally July to September) and complete pedagogical registration in the programme (generally September to December); pay the CVEC before registration.
English test waiver
Universite Paris Cite teaches most degrees in French; the university's own admissions page for independent international students describes a French test (TCF) requirement in some cases and does not publish an institution-wide IELTS or TOEFL minimum. It runs a small number of English-taught programmes, such as an undergraduate degree in Frontiers of Life Sciences, each with its own language requirement.
