Bachelor's (Licence)
A secondary diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureat. Language proficiency proof matching the programme's teaching language (French or English) is required.
Master's
A bachelor's degree or equivalent. Language proficiency proof matching the programme's teaching language is required; specific test minimums are set at programme level.
Documents
Diplomas, academic transcripts, CV, motivation letter, passport copy, and proof of language proficiency matching the programme's language of instruction. Payment of the CVEC is required before administrative registration.
How to apply
- Identify the programme and check whether it is taught in French or English, and its specific language-proficiency requirement.
- Apply through the platform that matches your country and course: Etudes en France for covered countries, eCandidat or the programme's own route otherwise (which applies to Bangladesh).
- Prepare diplomas, transcripts and proof of language proficiency ahead of the calendar deadline referenced on AMU's application pages.
- Once admitted, pay the CVEC and complete administrative registration; fees can be paid by card, cheque, or bank transfer for amounts over EUR 300.
- Apply for the student visa; the visa validation tax stamp is EUR 50 in the country guide's visa figures.
English test waiver
AMU's international admissions FAQ does not state one university-wide IELTS or TOEFL minimum; it asks applicants to prepare proof of language proficiency matching the language of instruction of their specific programme, French or English.
