Kristianstad University admits international students to English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes through Sweden's University Admissions portal. Its 2026/2027 international programmes brochure describes the yearly cycle: applications open from mid-October, the deadline for the autumn semester is usually in mid-January, admission decisions are sent in April and the academic year starts in late August; for exact dates it refers applicants to University Admissions. The master's programmes require English 6 or equivalent. Students from outside the EU/EEA pay tuition of SEK 110,000 or SEK 135,000 per year depending on the programme: the Computer Science master's with a specialization in Machine Learning lists SEK 135,000 and the one-year MSc in Accounting and Auditing lists SEK 110,000 in total. Each year the university offers a number of scholarships to fee-paying students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland, normally covering 50% to 100% of tuition and deducted from the fee; they do not cover living costs. Applicants need to have paid the University Admissions application fee to be considered.
