The University of Antwerp takes applications for 2027-28 through its Mobility Online system, which opens on 4 November 2026, and applications for 2026-27 have closed. Its deadlines come in two steps. Applicants who are not EEA or Swiss nationals and do not already live in Belgium on a valid residence permit must finish uploading their electronic documents by 28 February 2027, for a check of content and level, and must then send legalised or certified documents to the registrar by 31 May 2027, for a check of authenticity. EEA nationals and residents of Belgium have until 31 May and 30 June 2027. Enrolment closes on 2 October, and the university is blunt that a visa which arrives late does not extend that date and that the visa procedure can take more than three months. The application procedure is free of charge, and the university asks applicants not to send money, though a EUR 50 handling fee can arise if it has to pay delivery charges on posted documents. Erasmus Mundus masters, the advanced Master of Maritime and Air Transport Management and the Institute of Development Policy's advanced masters use their own admission procedures and deadlines. English is required at IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 80, and only two of Antwerp's bachelor's programmes are taught in English.
