University of Antwerp Tuition Fees 2027

The University of Antwerp's 2026-27 fees are a fixed amount plus an amount per credit. EEA students pay EUR 305.40 plus EUR 14.60 a credit, EUR 1,181.40 for 60 credits, for bachelor's and master's programmes alike. Students of other nationalities pay EUR 1,000 plus EUR 55 a credit for a bachelor's programme, EUR 4,300 for 60 credits, and EUR 1,500 plus EUR 105 a credit for a master's, preparatory or bridging programme, EUR 7,800 for 60 credits. Two masters are cheaper for non-EEA students: Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy at EUR 5,700 and the Research Master of Philosophy at EUR 4,400. Advanced masters are priced one by one: the three Institute of Development Policy programmes cost EUR 5,800 for EEA and EUR 7,800 for non-EEA students, the Master of Water Sustainability EUR 320 plus EUR 53 a credit, and the Master of Maritime and Air Transport Management EUR 19,500. A PhD costs EUR 591 at first enrolment and EUR 591 at the thesis defence. Some non-EEA students with long-term Belgian residence pay the EEA rate. Only two bachelor's programmes are taught in English, Social-Economic Science and the YUFE Bachelor of Urban Sustainability Studies. The university estimates the cost of living in Belgium at around EUR 16,000 a year.
