Tallinn University Admission 2027: Deadlines, Fees, Requirements

Tallinn University is one of the few Estonian universities to have published its autumn 2027 calendar already. Applications for all bachelor's programmes and all master's programmes except Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies open on 1 November 2026 and close on 1 March 2027. The AI for Sustainable Societies master's, an Erasmus Mundus programme, runs from 2 December 2026 to 2 February 2027, and the Interaction Design master's also has a spring 2027 intake, applied for from 1 September to 25 October 2026. The university does not accept late applications, and English requirements must be met by the deadline. International applicants pay an application fee of EUR 100 per person, which allows applications to two programmes and is not refundable; Ukrainian citizens were exempt for the 2026-27 intake, and applicants to AI for Sustainable Societies are exempt. Admission decisions are based on the documents and the programme's own entrance examination. Citizens of countries outside the EU and EEA must pay the first semester's tuition fee to finalise their acceptance, and most scholarships and allowances can only be applied for after final acceptance. Doctoral study is free. English is required at IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 72, and Duolingo is not accepted.
