Nord University Admission 2027: Deadlines, Fees, Requirements

Nord University admits students from outside the EU/EEA for its main autumn intake. The application period for non-EU/EEA citizens is 1 November to 1 December, and all documentation must be uploaded by 1 December, so applicants for autumn 2027 apply in November 2026; EU/EEA citizens apply from 1 February to 15 April. Applicants must meet the admission requirements before applying, and Nord University does not charge application fees. Master's applicants must show English with TOEFL iBT 90 and no section below 20, IELTS Academic 6.5, PTE Academic 62 or a Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency result of C or better, while bachelor's applicants need TOEFL iBT 60, IELTS 5 or PTE Academic 51, unless they are exempt. Students with citizenship outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland pay tuition: for 2026/2027 the rates are NOK 60,000 a year for humanities, social sciences and economics or administrative subjects, and NOK 85,000 a year for natural sciences, technology, health, social work, sports, teacher education and performing arts and media. The university notes these reduced rates depend on a proposed legal amendment being approved. Students also pay a semester fee, currently NOK 815 per semester. Nord University does not offer scholarships or grants for full degree students.
