Nord University in Norway was established on 1 January 2016 by merging the University of Nordland, Nesna University College and Nord-Trøndelag University College, and has 11,300 students. For 2026/2027, students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland pay NOK 60,000 a year in humanities, social sciences and economics and NOK 85,000 in sciences, technology, health and other fields. Applying is free, non-EU/EEA applicants apply from 1 November to 1 December, and master's applicants need IELTS Academic 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90.
