Dalarna University Admission 2027: Deadlines, Fees, Requirements

Dalarna University admits international students through Sweden's University Admissions portal, where the application dates and deadlines for each semester are published; the university's own site does not list the autumn 2027 dates. Applicants who are not EU/EEA citizens or Swedish residents pay an application fee of SEK 900. Applicants usually show English with TOEFL, needing a total of 90 and at least 20 on the written test, or IELTS, needing 6.5 overall with no section below 5.5, although many are exempt. Tuition for English-taught degree programmes is charged per semester: SEK 48,000 per semester for programmes such as Applied English Linguistics, Business Studies with an International Focus and Economics (SEK 96,000 in total over two semesters), SEK 75,000 per semester for Business Intelligence (SEK 150,000) and for Data Science and Solar Energy Engineering (SEK 300,000 over four semesters), SEK 84,000 for Global Sexual Reproductive Health, and SEK 51,420 per semester for the six-semester International Tourism Management bachelor's (SEK 291,420). Fee-paying master's students who rank a Dalarna master's programme first, apply on time and are admitted receive a guaranteed SEK 5,000 Choose Dalarna First waiver, and can later earn an Academic Excellence Scholarship. These scholarships are not available for bachelor's programmes. Swedish Institute scholarships are a separate option.
