Admission at a glance
Business Academy Aarhus is an erhvervsakademi, a Danish academy of applied sciences that awards short-cycle Academy Profession (AP) degrees and, through a top-up route, Professional Bachelor's degrees; neither is a research degree. Of its English-taught programmes, the two confirmed for this record are the two-year AP Degree in Multimedia Design and the one-and-a-half-year Bachelor's Top-Up in Digital Concept Development, which a Multimedia Design or comparable AP graduate can enter directly.
Applicants who are citizens of a country outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland, or who hold a qualifying exam from outside those countries, apply as quota 2 or foreign-qualification applicants. The national deadline for this group is 15 March at noon, the same date used across Danish academy profession and professional bachelor's admission. Tuition is charged per semester rather than as one flat annual figure: Multimedia Design costs DKK 45,500 (about EUR 6,000) a semester across four semesters, for a full programme total of DKK 182,000, and Digital Concept Development costs DKK 46,700 (about EUR 6,200) a semester across three semesters, for a total of DKK 140,000. The academy fixes its own DKK to EUR reference rate at 7.50. The first semester's tuition is due before that semester starts, and non-payment can lead to expulsion and a report to the immigration authorities, since the residence permit depends on enrolment.
English proficiency is demonstrated with an IELTS Academic or Indicator score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL score of at least 94 (4.5 on the new banded scale), a Cambridge C1 Advanced score of at least 180 or C2 Proficiency of at least 200, or the academy's own Oxford Online Placement Test at C1 level with at least 85 in each section, sat at the academy itself or an approved partner agency.

Requirements
Academy profession (AP) and bachelor's top-up programmes
Applicants need a Danish qualifying examination or a foreign qualification recognised as comparable to Danish upper secondary or academy profession level; the specific subject prerequisites depend on the programme, for example a prior AP degree in a related field for the Digital Concept Development top-up. Final exams must be completed by 5 July.
English proficiency: IELTS Academic or Indicator 6.5, TOEFL 94 (4.5 on the new banded scale) or TOEFL iBT Home Edition equivalent, Cambridge C1 Advanced 180 or C2 Proficiency 200, or the academy's own Oxford Online Placement Test at C1 (85 or more in each section). Applicants with the Danish upper secondary English B level (210 hours) are exempt from a separate test.
