Admission at a glance

Yildiz Technical University admits international undergraduates through the Student Affairs Directorate on a quota approved each year by the Senate. The university runs no entrance exam of its own and does not accept a YOS result from any other university: applicants are assessed on the exam and diploma types listed in its own accepted-qualifications document, which the Senate reviews annually. Applications are made through an online system in a single short window in July, and the 2026-2027 round opened at 10:00 on 20 July 2026 and closed at 16:00 on 31 July 2026. All application documents must be in Turkish or English, or accompanied by a certified translation. A candidate who is offered a place registers in person at the Davutpasa campus, or through a representative holding a notarised power of attorney, and registration for the 2026-2027 intake ran from 7 to 18 September 2026. Registration requires the original high school diploma with an apostille and certified Turkish translation, a graduation grade transcript, the exam result used in the application, a passport copy, six photographs, a financial guarantee declaration, a student visa, and proof that the tuition has been paid. A graduation certificate is not accepted in place of a diploma except in specific cases.
