Vilnius University Admission 2027: Deadlines, Fees, Requirements

Vilnius University runs one international intake a year, for studies starting in autumn. For autumn 2026 the admissions deadline was 1 May for applicants from outside the EU and EFTA, and 1 July for EU and EFTA citizens and for non-EU applicants with an unexpired 90-day visa-free period; the same dates applied to bachelor's and master's programmes. Dates for autumn 2027 had not been published when this page was checked. The application fee is EUR 100 per application, paid only through the Flywire platform after programmes are added to the application; it covers the whole process for up to three study programmes, and the university says every applicant must pay it, with no financial support available. Medicine and Dentistry, both taught in English, carry an entrance examination with a EUR 200 fee, and in 2026 non-EU applicants had to sit it by 14 May at 14:00 Vilnius time; students must also reach Lithuanian at B2 level by the end of the course. For master's applicants, the university's tuition fee waiver, which covers the full fee for the five strongest non-EU applicants, closed on 1 April 2026, a month before admission. English is required at IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 81 or Duolingo 120.
