Universidad de Sevilla Admission 2027 for International Students

US is one of Spain's largest public universities, based in the city of Seville, teaching mainly in Spanish. Non-EU applicants need a homologated or officially recognised prior qualification to access bachelor or master study, and Universidad de Sevilla explicitly charges international and domestic students the same public tuition price, one of the lowest in Spain.

Admission at a glance

Universidad de Sevilla is one of Spain's largest public universities, with faculties spread across the city of Seville. Teaching is mainly in Spanish. A non-EU applicant to a bachelor programme needs their secondary certificate homologated to the Spanish Bachillerato, or a UNEDasiss accreditation where that route applies, before competing for a place through Distrito Unico Andaluz, the shared admission system all of Andalusia's public universities use. For master's degrees, a foreign qualification needs to be either homologated or officially recognised as equivalent to a Spanish Grado, or, for some non-EHEA degrees, accepted by the university as Grado-equivalent without formal homologation; master's admission runs in phases through Distrito Unico Andaluz, with an initial phase reserved for foreign nationals holding an EHEA or accepted non-EHEA degree before later phases open to all qualifying applicants. Universidad de Sevilla states directly on its own enrolment pages that national and international students are charged the same public prices, because Andalusia, unlike Madrid or Catalonia, does not set a separate, higher credit price for non-EU students; new international students pay an initial EUR 400 pre-registration deposit by bank transfer, credited against the tuition bill. For English-taught or English-component study, Universidad de Sevilla's own Instituto de Idiomas publishes score tables under the shared Andalusian language-accreditation convention, setting IELTS 5.5 to 6.5 and TOEFL iBT 72 to 94 as equivalent to CEFR B2, the level most programmes ask for.
