University of Hong Kong Application Deadlines 2027

HKU is Hong Kong's oldest university, admitting international qualification holders through a rolling International/Non-JUPAS scheme that runs from autumn until a final closing date the following August. Tuition for non-local students is HK$224,000 a year in non-STEM faculties and HK$249,000 in STEM faculties.

The scheme runs on a rolling basis with an early first-round evaluation deadline and a final closing date. For September 2026 entry, the first-round deadline was 26 November 2025 and the scheme closed entirely on 21 August 2026 at noon Hong Kong time. The equivalent dates for September 2027 entry were not yet published on HKU's site as of September 2026.
