Requirements
Bachelor
An approved secondary qualification (GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate, or an equivalent national school-leaving certificate) meeting the prerequisites of the intended programme, submitted with predicted or actual results depending on the round applied to.
Master
A recognised bachelor's degree meeting the entry criteria of the specific graduate programme; requirements are set and published separately by each faculty.
Documents
Academic transcripts and certificates for all qualifications listed, English test score report where required, a valid travel document, and any programme-specific documents such as a personal statement, references or portfolio.
How to apply
- Confirm your qualification is covered by the International/Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme.
- Start the online application (opens around September) and pay the HK$600 application fee.
- Submit for first-round evaluation by the published deadline if you want an early decision, or continue on the rolling scheme up to the final closing date the following August.
- Submit supporting documents and final results as they become available.
- Attend an interview if invited.
- Receive the admission outcome by email and accept the offer.
- Apply for a Hong Kong student visa through the Immigration Department once the offer is accepted.
English test waiver
IELTS Academic must show an overall band of 6.5 or better achieved in one sitting; the IELTS Indicator (home edition) and IELTS Online are not accepted. TOEFL iBT must show 93 or better in one sitting; TOEFL ITP, ITP Plus and the Home Edition are not accepted. Both must be taken within two years of the 1 September start date.
