Admission at a glance

RSU runs two intakes for its English-taught Medicine and Dentistry programmes and one for its other programmes, and its deadlines are set by citizenship. For the February 2027 intake, which offers 240 Medicine and 32 Dentistry places to international students, applications open on 4 September 2026 and close on 1 October 2026 for citizens of countries on RSU's additional assessment list, 1 November 2026 for other non-EU applicants and 1 December 2026 for EU citizens and citizens of visa-free countries; studies begin on 2 February 2027. For September 2027, Medicine and Dentistry run from 1 March to 1 April 2027 for additional assessment countries and to 1 May 2027 for other non-EU applicants, and the master's programmes from 1 September 2026 to the same two dates. RSU's deadline page still carries some 2026 wording beside its 2027 tables, so dates should be confirmed with admissions. There is no entrance examination for bachelor's or master's programmes, but every non-EU applicant not living in the EU must take a motivational interview. The application fee is EUR 100 and is not refunded, and new Medicine and Dentistry students pay a further one-off EUR 1,800 registration administration fee. Medicine and Dentistry applicants need grades of at least 70% or 80% in the relevant subjects, and English is required at IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80 or Duolingo 115.
