Riga Stradins University Application Deadlines 2027

Riga Stradins University, founded in 1950 as the Riga Medical Institute, has 12,474 students and teaches Medicine, Dentistry and a small group of other programmes in English. International students pay EUR 13,500 a year for Medicine and EUR 15,500 for Dentistry in 2026-27, and EUR 3,300 to EUR 5,000 for its other English-taught programmes. The application fee is EUR 100, and applications for the February 2027 Medicine and Dentistry intake close on 1 October or 1 November 2026 depending on citizenship.

Applications open 4 September 2026 and close 1 October 2026 for citizens of additional assessment countries, 1 November 2026 for other non-EU citizens and 1 December 2026 for EU citizens and visa-free countries. Studies begin on 2 February 2027. Planned places: Medicine 240, Dentistry 32. A motivational interview is mandatory for non-EU applicants living outside the EU.

Medicine and Dentistry for September 2027 run from 1 March 2027 to the same dates. RSU's page mixes 2026 and 2027 wording, so confirm before relying on these dates.
