Radboud University Admission 2027: Deadlines, Requirements, Fees for International Students

Admission at a glance

Radboud University teaches bachelor's and master's programmes across faculties including Science, Social Sciences, Arts, Law, Medical Sciences, Philosophy Theology and Religious Studies, and Nijmegen School of Management. Bachelor's applicants with a non-Dutch qualification register through Studielink and Radboud's own application procedure; Radboud does not charge a separate bachelor's application fee, unlike its master's handling fee for non-EU/EEA applicants.

English requirements are set in two tiers. Biology, Chemistry, Computing Science, Molecular Life Sciences and Philosophy Politics and Society ask for IELTS Academic 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90; American Studies, Artificial Intelligence, Arts and Culture Studies, Economics and Business Economics, English Language and Culture, International Business Administration, International Business Communication and Psychology ask for the lower floor of IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80. Confirmed non-EEA institutional tuition for 2026-2027 ranges from EUR 13,793 a year for Psychology to EUR 17,809 a year for Biology, against a statutory rate of EUR 2,694 for eligible EEA students; other programmes fall inside or close to this range.

Non-EU/EEA bachelor's applicants have until 1 April to apply, an earlier date than the general Dutch deadline so applicants can join student housing lotteries and complete the visa procedure; numerus fixus programmes close 15 January for all applicants regardless of nationality. For master's programmes with a September intake, non-EU/EEA applicants have until 1 June, except programmes using a placement procedure, which close 1 April; a February intake closes 1 December for non-EU/EEA applicants.

Requirements

Bachelor

A secondary qualification recognised as giving access to university-level study, meeting the chosen programme's own subject prerequisites. Higher-tier programmes (Biology, Chemistry, Computing Science, Molecular Life Sciences, Philosophy Politics and Society) require IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90; other English-taught programmes require IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80.

Master

A relevant bachelor's degree meeting the specific master's programme's own grade and subject requirements; non-EU/EEA applicants pay a handling fee for the assessment of a non-Dutch diploma.
