Radboud Scholarship Programme 2026: Deadline, Eligibility, Benefits

The Radboud Scholarship Programme is Radboud University's own tuition-reduction scholarship for talented students from outside the EU and EEA who are admitted to one of its English-taught master's programmes, with the exception of Erasmus Mundus and joint-degree master's programmes. Eligible applicants must hold a bachelor's degree earned outside the Netherlands, must not hold any prior Dutch qualification or have received previous education in the Netherlands beyond an exchange programme, and must meet the English language requirement of their chosen master's programme. Rather than paying a full non-EU statutory tuition fee that can reach around EUR 18,000 a year depending on the programme, scholarship holders pay a reduced fee of EUR 2,694 for the 2026-27 academic year. The scholarship separately covers the costs of a visa, a residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance for the recipient's stay in the Netherlands, though it does not cover general living costs such as housing or food. For the 2026-27 intake, a maximum of 33 scholarships were distributed across six faculties: Arts (4), Law (4), Nijmegen School of Management (6), Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies (3), Science (8) and Social Sciences (8). The application had to be submitted in the university's OSIRIS application system by 31 January 2026, with all supporting documents completed by 14 February 2026. Selection is competitive and based on academic merit and motivation, judged separately within each faculty's own quota.
