Admission at a glance
NHH Norwegian School of Economics admits international students to its MSc in Economics and Business Administration once a year. The application portal for autumn 2027 opens on 1 November 2026, and the application deadline, including submission of test results, is 15 February at midnight CET. Applicants must meet the English requirement with TOEFL iBT 90 (or 4.5 for tests from 21 January 2026), IELTS Academic 6.5, Cambridge English 173 or PTE Academic 62, unless an exemption applies, and must also submit a GMAT score of at least 555 (Focus Edition) or 600 (previous format), or a GRE quantitative score of at least 152, with some exemptions for applicants with relevant Nordic credits. A new Master in Business and Data Science starts in autumn 2027, with applications opening no later than 1 January. Students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland pay tuition: NOK 204,000 a year for the master's cohort starting in 2026/2027, up from NOK 196,000 in 2025/2026, while fees for the 2027/2028 cohort are expected to be set in the first quarter of 2027. For a study permit, first-year master's students must document NOK 370,859, covering living costs and tuition. All students pay a semester fee of about NOK 910. NHH is publicly financed and does not offer scholarships or other financial support.
