Admission at a glance

Lodz University of Technology is a technical university with faculties across the city of Lodz, including a dedicated International Faculty of Engineering that teaches several programmes fully in English alongside English-taught tracks in other faculties such as Management (Zarzadzanie). International candidates apply through the university's own online enrollment portal, apply.p.lodz.pl, registering an account, uploading certified documents and paying the application fee for their chosen field. Bachelor's applicants whose certificate does not already demonstrate B2 English must additionally sit the university's own advanced-level English entrance exam and score at least 60%. Admission runs in two rounds for the main October intake, an earlier round closing in July and a later one in September for places that remain open; a smaller number of master's programmes also open a March start with its own December-to-March admission window. Tuition is billed per semester rather than per year and fixed by field of study, which is why confirmed figures for this record range from PLN 2,800 a semester for Papiernictwo i poligrafia (Paper and Printing) up to PLN 9,000 a semester for International Faculty of Engineering programmes, the same ceiling that applies to some master's fields such as part-time Zarzadzanie at the low end.
