Requirements
Bachelor
- A secondary school certificate qualifying for higher education in its country of issue, with certified translation.
- English proficiency at CEFR B2: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72, TOEIC 785 (Listening and Reading), or an accepted Cambridge or Trinity certificate; where no certificate is held, the university's own advanced English entrance exam, passed at 60% or above.
- Programme-specific requirements set by the admitting faculty.
Master
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- The same B2 English minimum as bachelor level.
- Programme-specific requirements; a small number of master's programmes admit for a March start as well as the main October intake.
Documents
Passport copy; secondary school certificate or prior degree diploma and transcript, certified and translated; proof of English proficiency, or registration for the university's own English entrance exam; and further documents the admitting faculty requests once preliminarily qualified.
How to apply
- Choose a programme and confirm whether it opens for the October or March intake.
- Register on apply.p.lodz.pl, enter your education record and upload certified documents.
- Pay the application fee (PLN 85 to PLN 150 depending on the programme) by the round's deadline.
- Sit the university's own English entrance exam if you do not hold a qualifying certificate.
- Check your result once published, then confirm your place within the stated confirmation window.
- Submit original documents by the stated deadline and enrol.
- Apply for the national type D student visa.
English test waiver
Bachelor's applicants must additionally pass the university's own advanced-level English entrance exam with at least 60%, on top of holding a qualifying certificate. TOEIC (785 in Listening and Reading, 150 in Speaking, 160 in Writing) and Cambridge, Trinity and other B2-level certificates are also accepted; application fees separately range from PLN 85 to PLN 150 depending on the programme.
