Universitas Gadjah Mada takes foreign degree applicants through its international admissions portal. For the February 2027 intake, the even semester of 2026-27, the first application window runs from 1 September to 6 October 2026, with selection from 7 to 13 October and results on 15 October, and the second from 13 October to 10 November 2026, with selection from 11 to 17 November and results on 19 November. Visa and study permit processing follows from 25 November 2026 to 29 January 2027, and the programme starts in February 2027. The February intake is for master's and doctoral applicants who fund themselves, and for double degree bachelor's programmes; ordinary bachelor's degrees start each August. The offer letter sets out the tuition and visa application fees to pay. Tuition for foreign undergraduates follows Rector's Decree 625 of 2025 and is charged per semester with a one-time development fee. UGM does not publish a university-wide English minimum for foreign applicants on its admissions pages, and hosts Indonesian government KNB and TIAS scholarship students.
