Admission at a glance
IPB University in Bogor, West Java, runs an International Undergraduate Program (IUP) that is open to foreign applicants. The programmes listed on its fee page are Smart Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Marine Science and Technology, Food Technology, Agro-industrial Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Management, Agribusiness, Natural Resources and Environmental Economics, Islamic Economics and Business. Foreign applicants register online at the IPB admission portal, pay a registration fee of IDR 3,000,000 by bank transfer, and complete the registration form. They must have finished 12 years of primary and secondary education, be at most 25 years old, and have graduated from high school in 2021 to 2026. The registration documents are a recent passport-sized photo, an English proficiency certificate, the payment receipt for the registration fee and a payment commitment for tuition fees. Admission is based on an entrance examination, a Scholastic Ability Test of 25 questions in 60 minutes, and applicants for Veterinary Medicine also take a 25 question veterinary test. Applicants without an English certificate sit an English prediction test of 30 minutes. For 2026 the university opened two batches. Batch I registration ran from 2 February 2026 to 3 April 2026, and Batch II registration ran from 14 May 2026 to 16 July 2026, with the exam on 19 July 2026 and results on 23 July 2026. Successful applicants re-register online and pay the first tuition, listed at IDR 25,000,000 per semester.

Bachelor

- Maximum age of 25 years.
- Completed 12 years of primary and secondary education.
- Malaysian applicants must hold the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM).
- English proficiency certificate: TOEFL iBT 53, TOEFL ITP 477, IELTS 5.5 or Duolingo 80. Foreign applicants without a certificate take an English prediction test.
- Entrance examination: Scholastic Ability Test of 25 questions in 60 minutes; an extra 25 question test for Veterinary Medicine.
Master
IPB lists master's admission for international applicants separately, in its International Graduate Program information. The undergraduate rules above do not apply to master's applicants.
