Universitas Indonesia admits foreign students through its UI Admission system for all programmes, with a USD 150 application fee paid by money transfer. For the 2026-27 international undergraduate class, enrolment for foreign students closed on 4 June 2026, and a separate Global Talent route ran from 3 to 16 July 2026. Master's and doctoral registration for the second term of 2026 runs from 6 August to 2 November 2026 at 23:59 Jakarta time, with results announced on 4 December 2026 and offers accepted by 10 December 2026. The 2027 undergraduate intake had not been published when this page was checked. Applicants need TOEFL ITP 500, TOEFL iBT 61, IELTS 5.5 or Cambridge 154, or a letter from an English-medium high school, and some programmes set higher scores. Tuition is charged each semester, with a one-time institutional development fee for undergraduates. Foreign master's applicants can apply for the New UI GREAT scholarship, which waives tuition for up to four semesters and, at full level, adds airfare, a settlement allowance and a IDR 3,500,000 monthly allowance. After admission, the university supports the Ministry study permit and the E30B student visa.
