Admission at a glance

BUET runs its own undergraduate admission test rather than taking part in any shared cluster, through a dedicated portal named ugadmission.buet.ac.bd, confirmed through search results and links from BUET's own department subdomains. Applicants apply online, and a prospectus published each cycle sets out eligibility, the subjects tested and the test format; the contact address given in search results for technical admission queries is ugadmission@iict.buet.ac.bd.

Every domain in the buet.ac.bd family attempted during this research pass on 2026-09-07 failed rather than returning content: buet.ac.bd, www.buet.ac.bd, ugadmission.buet.ac.bd and eee.buet.ac.bd each returned either a DNS resolution failure, a connection refusal, or, in one case, a malformed response the fetch tool could not parse. Because of that, no application dates, fees, eligibility GPA or international student policy could be confirmed from an official page. This research pass did not use any of the figures that appear on third party admission and forum sites for BUET, in line with this project's sourcing rule.

Requirements

Bachelor

Pass HSC with a science background at the grades that year's prospectus states, then apply online through ugadmission.buet.ac.bd and sit BUET's own written admission test. The current cycle's minimum GPA and test structure are set fresh each year in that prospectus, which this research pass could not reach.
