Universities in India (2027): Fees, Deadlines, Requirements

Foreign degree students in India need a student visa for on-campus, full-time study, granted for up to five years or the length of the course, or a one-year e-Student Visa. Students must register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office within 14 days of arrival, may not take up employment, and do not get a work visa after graduation. At IIT Bombay, foreign nationals pay Rs 3,00,000 a semester for undergraduate study and SAARC students, including Bangladeshis, pay half the non-SAARC rate for master's and PhD programmes.
