CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Admission 2027

Admission at a glance

International applicants to CHRIST (Deemed to be University) apply through the university's Office of International Affairs, which handles admission and support for students who are foreign citizens (non-Indian passport holders), PIO (Person of Indian Origin) card holders, or OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) card holders; the university calls this the International Student Category. Applicants register online, complete the application form, upload their previous academic records and a passport-size photograph, and pay the application fee before submitting.

For its MBA programme (Admission 2027, Session I), applications opened online on 5 September 2026 and closed on 24 January 2027 at 17:00. Eligible candidates then received an admit card on 27 January 2027 and were called for group discussion, micro-presentation, written assessment and a personal interview between 31 January and 2 February 2027, with the final selection list published on 6 February 2027. Eligibility requires an undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate marks from a university recognised by the UGC or AIU, plus a qualifying score in one of MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT or GRE (for example GMAT 450 or GRE 295).

International MBA applicants are told to expect tuition of USD 4,500 to USD 7,500, alongside separate published ranges for other subject groups (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce and Sciences at USD 2,000 to 4,000; Law, Engineering and Architecture at USD 4,000 to 5,500; PhD from USD 450). All programmes are taught in English, and applicants who cannot show a qualifying English-medium record or a TOEFL/IELTS score must complete the university's own pre-sessional English course before classes begin.

Requirements

Bachelor

Undergraduate applicants (including those applying under the International Student Category) must submit a copy of their Class 10 and Class 11 mark statements (mandatory), plus Class 12 marks if already available. General eligibility, entrance test and interview requirements vary by school and programme; the university's Office of International Affairs reviews applications from foreign citizens, PIO card holders and OCI card holders under this category.

Master

For postgraduate applications in general, applicants must submit Class 10 and Class 12 mark statements plus their undergraduate degree marks card (semester or year-wise; a marks card showing results so far is accepted if final results are awaited).

For the MBA specifically (Admission 2027, Session I), a candidate must have passed an undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate marks from a university in India or abroad recognised by the UGC or AIU (final-year students completing exams by March-June 2027 may also apply), and must hold a qualifying score in one of: MAT 600, CAT 60th percentile, CMAT 60th percentile, XAT 60th percentile, ATMA 60th percentile, GMAT 450, or GRE 295, from a test held in 2026 or 2027.
