CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Admission Requirements 2027

Requirements

Bachelor

Undergraduate applicants (including those applying under the International Student Category) must submit a copy of their Class 10 and Class 11 mark statements (mandatory), plus Class 12 marks if already available. General eligibility, entrance test and interview requirements vary by school and programme; the university's Office of International Affairs reviews applications from foreign citizens, PIO card holders and OCI card holders under this category.

Master

For postgraduate applications in general, applicants must submit Class 10 and Class 12 mark statements plus their undergraduate degree marks card (semester or year-wise; a marks card showing results so far is accepted if final results are awaited).

For the MBA specifically (Admission 2027, Session I), a candidate must have passed an undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate marks from a university in India or abroad recognised by the UGC or AIU (final-year students completing exams by March-June 2027 may also apply), and must hold a qualifying score in one of: MAT 600, CAT 60th percentile, CMAT 60th percentile, XAT 60th percentile, ATMA 60th percentile, GMAT 450, or GRE 295, from a test held in 2026 or 2027.

Documents

Application form completed online, scanned passport-size photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, formal dress, white background), and mark statements for the relevant level (Class 10 and Class 11 mandatory, Class 12 if available, for undergraduate applications; Class 10, Class 12 and undergraduate degree marks card for postgraduate applications). MBA applicants applying to the Dual Degree MBA (CHRIST) + MBA (THWS, Germany) must also submit work-related documents such as a joining letter or experience letter with the latest salary slip, since at least one year of work experience is mandatory for that track.

How to apply

1. Register on the university's application portal (espro.christuniversity.in) using your name as printed on your Class 10 mark card, an email ID, and a password.
2. Fill in the detailed online application, upload your photograph and required mark statements, and pay the application fee by card; a 9-digit application number is generated on submission.
3. Sit the entrance test where applicable (for the MBA: a qualifying score in MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT or GRE) and, if shortlisted, attend the selection process (for the MBA Session I 2027: group discussion, micro-presentation, written assessment and personal interview between 31 January and 2 February 2027 at the university's campuses).
4. Check the application status page for your result; selected candidates receive an offer letter.
5. Pay the course fee online to complete admission.

English test waiver

Christ University teaches all courses in English medium. International students from a non-English-speaking background must show evidence of passing their qualifying examination in English, or present TOEFL (paper-based) 550, TOEFL (online/computer-based) 213, or IELTS 6.0. A student who cannot meet this must take the university's own 3-month Intensive English Language Course (IELC), a full-time course (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) of more than 320 hours run from the beginning of March to the end of May, covering functional grammar and reading skills, before starting the academic programme.
