Vrije Universiteit Brussel Application Deadlines 2027

Vrije Universiteit Brussel, established in its own right in 1970, has 24,695 students, more than 6,000 of them from abroad, on campuses in Brussels. Non-EEA students pay EUR 4,800 to EUR 5,720 a year for an English-taught bachelor's and EUR 2,500 to EUR 5,720 for a master's in 2026-27. Applicants with a foreign diploma pay a EUR 90 application fee, and the non-EEA deadline was 31 March in the last cycle.

To be confirmed. VUB had not published its 2027-28 calendar. In the 2026-27 cycle applications opened on 15 November 2025 and non-EEA citizens with a foreign diploma had to apply by 31 March 2026, EEA citizens by 31 July and the Brussels School of Governance by 31 August. The EUR 90 application fee must be paid within 30 days of applying.
