University of Oulu Application Deadlines 2027

The University of Oulu sits a couple of hours' drive from the Arctic Circle and teaches more than twenty master's programmes and four bachelor's programmes in English. Tuition for the 2026-2027 intake runs from EUR 10,000 to EUR 14,000 a year depending on the programme, and every programme carries an early bird discount of 15 to 30 per cent for anyone who pays within three weeks of the results.

Finland's first joint application to higher education, which is the route for every English-taught programme at Oulu, bachelor's and master's alike. The form is at studyinfo.fi and the round is short, two weeks. Non-EU and non-EEA applicants pay an application fee collected by the Finnish National Agency for Education inside the Studyinfo form. After the deadline there is a separate document verification step, and a place is cancelled if educational documents and language proof are not verified in time. Tuition then has a three week window of its own, because the early bird discount of 15 to 30 per cent only applies to students who pay within three weeks of the results.

A separate rolling admission for one programme only, the Bachelor's degree programme in International Business Management, for studies beginning in autumn 2027. It runs from 1 October 2026 to 25 February 2027, so it opens three months before the joint application and closes a month after it. An applicant aiming at that programme has a longer window than everyone else at Oulu.
