University of Belgrade Admission 2026 for International Students

Admission at a glance

The University of Belgrade admits students through each faculty under a common competition. For bachelor's and integrated programmes in 2026/27, the first round took applications from 19 to 23 June 2026 with entrance exams to 30 June, the second round from 28 to 31 August 2026, and the third round on 16 and 17 September 2026. Master's applications for 2026/27 open on 1 September and close on 5 October 2026 in the first round. Each faculty sets its own application fee, such as EUR 140 for Medicine in English and RSD 4,000 for the School of Electrical Engineering's English-taught master's, whose applications run from 21 September to 1 October 2026. Before enrolling, foreign students must prove knowledge of Serbian or of the programme's language of instruction, and English-taught programmes set their own proof, such as B2 English at the School of Electrical Engineering. Foreign citizens pay tuition for their entire studies, set per programme in the university's fee table; in 2025/26 the English-taught Medicine programme cost EUR 8,000 a year. Holders of Serbian Government World in Serbia scholarships enrol under a separate ministry instruction.
