Aveiro's rector fixed international tuition for 2026/27 by field for bachelor's and integrated master's students: EUR 3,500 a year in the humanities, social and political sciences; EUR 4,150 in economics and management, mathematics and education; and EUR 5,000 in the arts, sciences, engineering and health. The figure that matters more is the incentive scholarship. Any international undergraduate who enters with an application grade of 16 or higher and is enrolled full-time has the annual fee reduced to EUR 1,000, whatever the field, and the rules for keeping it in later years depend on full-time enrolment and results the previous year. For master's courses the same EUR 1,000 incentive applies from a grade of 14, capped at 10 per cent of places. The application fee is EUR 70 and non-refundable, and the registration fee is EUR 70 to EUR 100 depending on the course. The annual fee can be paid in one go or in ten monthly instalments from September to June, so in general nothing has to be paid before arriving in Portugal.
