University of Aveiro Application Deadlines 2027

The University of Aveiro, on Portugal's central coast, admits non-EU students to its bachelor's degrees through a special call in three phases. Tuition for 2026/27 is EUR 3,500 to EUR 5,000 a year by field, but an incentive scholarship cuts it to EUR 1,000 for any international student entering with a grade of 16 or higher and studying full-time. Teaching is in Portuguese, with B1 required.

Aveiro had not published its 2027/28 phases when checked on 14 September 2026. The 2026/27 pattern: phase 1 from 5 to 29 January and phase 3 from 1 to 9 July, both only for candidates exempt from local exams; phase 2 from 25 March to 7 April with written exams from 20 to 30 April. A candidate who needs to sit Aveiro's exam must use the spring phase. Up to three courses per phase.
